POLITICAL PREFACE – January 2020

With the advent of the New Year (2020), the Yemeni people and their political leadership continue their military and political struggle. The hostile aggressors are forced to retreat, despite the direct intensive American support and the British-French-German backing to the aggressive Saudi-Emirates’ forces and their mercenaries at home, thanks to the valor of the Yemeni army forces, its popular committees and its faith in the just cause of the Yemeni people.

This is the honored Arabia Felix with its great people and leadership, drawing solidly, at the beginning of this year, the features of its political victories. The Capital, Sana’a, has received during a few days in this year the largest number of high-level representatives of Western countries including ambassadors of the European Union, France, the Netherlands, the representatives of Sweden and Switzerland, and the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General. They came to look closely at the facts of the just and true political stances, after the aggression forces deliberately misled them, to declare openly that this unjust and futile war must be stopped; and that it is time for the international community to contribute effectively to stopping this war and preventing its support with weapons and equipment. In addition to violation of public international law, the rules of the United Nations Charter and Security Council resolutions, this unjust war has also caused – in vain – the largest humanitarian catastrophe in modern history. Reports of “neutral” United Nations bodies and organizations monitored numbers acts of unspeakable cruelty, while the international human conscience is silence and dead. For a period of five years, this dirty war on Yemen, according to these reports, has killed and wounded (42,203) civilians, including (7,552) children, (5,037) women, and (29,614) men, and destroyed a number of (1,058) schools, (384) hospitals and health center, and (3,603) roads and bridges, (453,332) civilian houses. It has also caused a strangling of food and farms, as well as the systematic destruction of all means of food and medicine supply.

O free and honorable people of the world, stop watching this aggression with disgraceful silence, and come with us, as one voice, to stand by the sovereignty, independence and safety of Yemen, the land and people.
