- The honorable Yemeni people are still watching with regret the attitudes of the international community that stand as spectators or complicit with the Saudi-led Coalition’s siege and killing in exchange for a handful of dollars or Black Gold (Oil) of the Gulf, which is used for purchasing this silence. Moreover, those Western countries that apparently carry human rights slogans, particularly the US along with the UK, are directly involved in this aggression by providing the Saudi-led Coalition of war on Yemen with weapons as well as logistical and political support.
- This impression of the Yemeni people has not changed even with the change of the new and fourth Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, Hans Grundberg, as it is clear from his statements and visits that he does not differ from his three predecessors. His views actually do not range beyond the compliments and wishes which are not accompanied with an effective international administration to stop this aggression and siege that contravenes the Charter of the United Nations, for which he stands as a representative.
- The state of despair caused by the international community towards the grievances of the Yemeni people will reveal its negative impacts on any real prospects for peace building. This will transform the people into an angry, popular army, revolting against the pure blood that is shed daily as a result of the international crimes against it.
- For peace-building to progress forward, we hope that the free international voices, who have not yet been purchased with Gulf money and American influence, will raise their voices loudly to stop this futile and aggressive war, which has achieved nothing in seven years except for killing thousands of children, elderly men, women and civilians, according to impartial international human rights reports. These tragedies lead only to doubling the number of enlistees in the Popular Committees for defending their innocent blood. It has also pushed them to develop their qualitative defensive capabilities until the Yemeni people have possessed potentials that qualify them to confront such a criminal aggression for decades. Therefore, the voices of the honorable people in the world should rise louder to stop this unjust war and punish the criminals.
