POLITICAL PREFACE – November 2022

  1. The Quadruple Coalition of War on Yemen (the US, KSA, the UK and the UAE) insist on keeping Yemen in a state of clinical death after they were unable to defeat it militarily, thanks to the popular and military resistance that have tipped the scales on the ground. These countries have refrained from renewing the UN-brokered truce based on humanitarian requirements by stopping the plundering of the people’s wealth of oil and gas, as the revenues should be used to disburse entitlements and salaries to Yemeni public sector employees without any discrimination. Salaries should be paid according to the 2014 payrolls, i.e., before the war on Yemen, so that they may not claim that the salaries will go to those who were recently recruited by Ansarullah. The salaries are actually meant for those who were employed in civil, security and military institutions by the former regime before the start of the war on Yemen. However, the Saudi-led countries of war and siege on Yemen refrain from doing so and relentlessly demand to be allowed to loot Yemeni oil and gas with the consent of Riyadh Hotels Government, so that they continue to deposit the oil and gas revenues to the Saudi National Bank (SNB), and not to use these revenues to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people in the northern or southern parts.
  2. Still the looters of Yemeni wealth, audaciously and shamelessly, consider the defense of the Yemeni people and army for their wealth as an act that threatens international peace and security, and that allowing international companies affiliated with the Saudi-led Coalition of siege and war to loot the people’s goods is the only pathway towards peace.
  3. Eight years of theft have passed, in which there was enough opportunity for these countries to prove the truth of their false slogans by allocating this money to Yemenis. In reality, as witnessed by every citizen in every part of Yemen, the Yemeni people did not receive anything from them, neither as salaries nor as infrastructure projects. Instead, these revenues were transferred to the Saudi National Bank (SNB) and from it to the pockets of influential people living in hotels of Riyadh, Turkey and Cairo, who have remarkably become, with this looted wealth, the talk of the town in the Arab media. While the Yemeni people are dying inside the country, their oil, gas, and ports revenues are taken away instead of being used for paying the salaries and entitlements of the people. After eight years of patience, endurance, and giving opportunities, the People’s Army had to legitimately announce its warning and anger towards the robbing and looting oil tankers in accordance with all international laws, declaring a military ban on anyone who would think to loot the people’s wealth. By this, the Quadruple Coalition of looting and war against Yemen have to ensure that oil and gas revenues should be disbursed in the right ways and according to the state budget approved before the war on Yemen.
  4. According to the Ministry of Defense of Sana’a government (NSG), the popular committees and armed forces will continue to prevent those countries from looting the resources of the Yemeni people, until this goal is achieved. To the knowledge of everyone, the insistence of this Quadruple Coalition on imposing the unjust and unjustified blockade on the Yemeni people may cause legitimate reactions that would harm the maritime traffic in Bab Al-Mandab Strait, the gateway through which the needs of all countries of the world can enter except for the needs of the Yemeni people who are overlooking it.
  5. Now, it is high time for a serious stand by the international community against these heinous and unjustified actions, which are audaciously committed against the Yemeni people.
